I guess email is your best friend with the iPad when is time to uploading pictures to tumblr

Honestly, I have not installed any iPad apps related to tumblr yet. I tried the official iPhone Tumblr app, that looks quite fine. However, the dashboard interface works pretty much ok in Safari Mobile.

After playing for a while with the iPad and my style related tumblr, I came to this conclusion:

a) Many people use tumblr for uploading pictures (doh!)

b) You need a damn good feed reader app like feedly

c) You need to get your “Post by email” address in the Goodies section

d) Mailing an article from your feed reader to tumblr and, prior sending, removing all the content apart from the pictures wont work.

e) Saving the picture in your photo library and mailing it to your “Post by email” address will work. There are few extra steps involved than just mailing the pic from the feed reader but, hey, it works!
