Customize your Tumblr Favicon
You should already know about favicon, they are little icons used to brand your site. You see them next to the address, or in the bookmarks.
To know what I mean, try to visit www.apple.com… noticed the little apple on gray background?
You can have your Tumblr favicon very easely. First of all, you need to create your favicon.

After you have one, you need to upload it. You need a hosting space to do that. If you don’t have one, you can use Google Pages.
Now that the icon is uploaded, go in Tumblr, Settings. You need to use a custom layout. Before the tag HEAD add this code:
Where mysite.com is where I uploaded the icon. E.g., if I used Google Pages, it will be myusername.googlepages.com/favicon.ico.
